Yippee, It’s Sunday! And, it may just be my favorite day of the week, especially during football season. For me Sunday’s almost always begins with something healthy like a good run and end with me eating some sort of delicious, but unhealthy comfort food that I whipped up with a whole lot of running around in between.
Here is a list of the top 5 game day eats that you will find cooking at our house any given Sunday.
- Meatball & Sausage Subs
- Baked Mac n’ Cheese (Coxy’s FAVORITE)
- Buffalo Chicken Dip
- Pulled Pork Sandwiches
Today we decided on doing the Pulled Pork Sandwich’s topped with Cole slaw. These sandwiches were super easy to make and tasted great with a beer.
Here is the recipe:
2 pork tenderloin
1 large onion, sliced
3 cloves garlic, chopped
3 tbs barbecue sauce of you choice
2 tbs olive oil
Cole Slaw: I bought a pre-made Cole slaw and dressing, simply combined the two. (Hey, don’t judge…it’s Sunday, and I have like 10 loads of laundry to do so I cut a couple of corners)
Preheat oven to 325°F or drag our your crock pot. Combine all ingredients into your pot. Cover and cook on low for 5 hours. Shred the pork and assemble your sandwiches.
